DEMOW, April 7: The new executive committee of Assam Swimming Association was formed at the general meeting of the association held at Demow Inspection Bunglow on Friday. Ranjit Borgohain presided over the meeting and in the general meeting the representatives of 15 Districts under the Assam Swimming Association took part.
Mithun Chuladhara, Advocate of Sibsagar Bar Association was present as Returning Officer. Ranjit Borgohain was selected as President, Deba Hazarika, Munindra Hazarika, Jadunath Gogoi and Pranjal Bhattacharjee were selected as Vice-Presidents, Bhaskar Ranjan Das was selected as General Secretary, Chandan Jyoti Phukan and Dibya Sarma were selected as Joint Secretaries, Pranta Mahanta was selected as Organizing Secretary, Kishore Handique was selected as Secretary of Technical Department and Javed Ahmed was selected as Cashier of Assam Swimming Association.
