Ankur Play School opens at Frontier Headquarters BSF Guwahati

GUWAHATI, July 13: Ankur Play School, a new facility aimed at providing recreational and hands-on learning opportunities for children aged up to 3 years, was officially opened at the premises of Frontier Headquarters Border Security Force in Patgaon, Guwahati, on July 12, 2023. The initiative aims to nurture children’s learning aptitude and overall growth.

Under the guidance of Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, inspector general of Frontier Headquarters BSF Guwahati, the inauguration ceremony witnessed Bhawna Yadav, president of the BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA), as the chief guest. During her address, Bhawna Yadav emphasised the significance of providing ample opportunities for children to flourish and highlighted the efforts made to ensure their educational, sports, and overall developmental needs are met. The goal is to benefit both the children of Border Security Force personnel and the local community residing near the campus.

The opening ceremony also included captivating cultural programs performed by the children of BSF personnel. The program showcased a diverse range of talents, including vibrant dances, melodious music, and engaging quiz and drawing competitions. To recognise the efforts and participation of the children, prizes were distributed to those who took part in various events.

The Ankur Play School at Frontier Headquarters Border Security Force in Guwahati is set to become a hub of early childhood education, fostering a nurturing environment for young learners while promoting their holistic development.
