Historical drama ‘Pobitora’ released

Morigaon, May 5: A historical drama ‘Pobitora’ written by dramatist Binod Ch Sarma based on the 1942 martyr Tilak Deka and the 1983 students’ revolution of Assam was formally released at Morigaon Press Club on Thursday. Dramatist Binod Ch. Sarma’s drama ‘Pobitora’ was inaugurated by noted Tiwa writer Maneshwar Deuri in presence of distinguished guests at the press club. Earlier, a felicitation programme was held which was conducted by Jyotish Batman. The family members of Binod Ch. Sarma felicitated the invited guests Maneshwar Deuri, Mileswar Pator, Bubumoni Goswami, Birinchi Sarma and Dalim Phukan with a gamusa during the meeting.
