BAKALIA, May 8: The 3rd edition of Ribboidima – Janagosthiya Sanskritik Sanmilan 2022 was celebrated at Bumroi Primary School playground with a day-long programme.

The one day festival started in the morning after unfurling of the organisation’s flag by Bhadreshwar Hazarika, president of Ribboidima organising committee.

Former headmaster of Serakani High School, Arabinda Saikia inaugurated the Open Session. Dr. Premananda Musahari attended as appointed speaker and professor of Hojai Girls College, Dr. Ghankanta Saikia released a book ‘Ribboidima’ on the occasion.

MLA of Diphu, Bidyasing Engleng attended as the chief guest of the programme. Bodo, Karbi, Assamese and Dimasa communities presented their folk dances on the occasion. Executive member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Khonsing Rongpi was also present on the occasion.
