GUWAHATI, Dec 7: Bharti Foundation’s Quality Support Program (QSP) is leaving a significant imprint on the educational sector by spearheading comprehensive development initiatives in government schools. With a focus on co-scholastic interventions, the QSP has positively impacted over 3.5 lakh students and 13,000+ teachers across 850 partner government schools in 12 states and union territories.
In a recent district-level Teaching-Learning Material (TLM) Mela held in Dumka, Jharkhand, in collaboration with DIET Dumka, QSP provided a platform for 110 teachers from 80 partner and non-partner government schools in ten blocks of Dumka district. The event aimed to foster creativity and skills in developing engaging teaching aids. A noteworthy highlight of the event was the recognition of excellence through the Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards. Twelve teachers were honored under different categories for their outstanding contributions to designing the best TLMs.
Underpinning the success of QSP is its emphasis on strengthening school leadership and teacher engagement, fostering a shared vision to transform schools into vibrant centers of learning. In Dumka, 35 teachers from partner government schools underwent specialized training, focusing on enriching the learning environment for students through innovative teaching-learning materials.
