Governor Kataria inaugurated GEMA “eLECTROFEST” Expo in Guwahati

Expo to bring all leading electrical companies on one platform

GUWAHATI, Feb 3: Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria on Saturday inaugurated the three-day ‘eLECTROFEST’ Expo at Ulubari in Guwahati.

‘eLECTROFEST’ Expo is the biggest electrical expo in the history of the Northeast. It has been organized by the Guwahati Electric Merchants Association (GEMA) from February 3 to 5.

President of the organization Nawal Kishore Sarda and secretary, Saket Raj Pugalia, project chairman and vice president of the organization Gopal Pasari, treasurer Naveen Sethia, Expo convener Abhishek Kejriwal and director Powered by Anchor by Panasonic, the title sponsor along with other dignitaries were present during the inauguration.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that through the ‘eLECTROFEST’ Expo the Guwahati Electric Merchants Association brings all leading electrical companies under one roof, which will be beneficial for small traders as well as consumers.

Project chairman and vice president of the organization Gopal Pasari said that more than 70 major electrical companies of the country are participating in this expo and will showcase their products.

Expo convenor Abhishek Kejriwal said that the event, which is  being held in Guwahati for the first time, will bring together all the electrical companies showcasing the latest innovations in electricals and is a must-see for builders, architects, contractors, traders, interior designers and consumers from across the Northeast.

Secretary Saket Raj Puglia said that stalwarts of the electrical, lighting and power industry, from manufacturers, original equipment manufacturer, suppliers and distributors to agents, will participate in this expo and will provide ample business opportunities.

Expo convenor and GEMA treasurer Naveen Sethia said that the expo is a platform where a common buyer can come and see the entire range of products related to electricals.

The event is being supported by ANCHOR by Panasonic and co-supported by KEI and Kolors, and affiliated by RR Kabel, Presto Plast, Berlia and Izzok. He further said that Convenors Anil Dugar, Saurabh Bothra and Abhisekh Kagliwal, and team members Mehul Pasari, Deepak Agarwal, Anshuman Dhanuka along with all the members of the organization are working hard to make this event a grand success.
