GUWAHATI, Feb 13: Informa Markets in India, a leading exhibition organizer, is gearing up to host SATTE 2024, hailed as South Asia’s top travel exhibition.
Scheduled to take place from February 22nd to 24that the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, SATTE has garnered immense interest from both Indian and global players in the travel and tourism industry. This year marks the 31st edition of the event, with expectations soaring as it promises to be the biggest ever, drawing participation from over 1500 exhibitors, 800 hosted international and domestic buyers, and professionals from over 120 Indian cities and towns.
SATTE 2024 serves as a crucial platform for gaining insights into India’s thriving travel industry, bringing together the entire value chain of the travel, tourism, and hospitality sector. With India’s visitor export earnings projected to reach US $50 billion by 2028, SATTE 2024 presents a strategic opportunity to support the goals of Indian tourism and explore business opportunities within the industry.
Supported by the Union ministry of tourism, Indian and International Tourism Boards, global travel trade bodies, airlines, hotels, and other stakeholders, SATTE 2024 introduces “ATITHI,” an exclusive Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet in collaboration with the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC). This initiative aims to bolster inbound tourism by mobilizing around 250 international buyers from over 50 countries, thereby enhancing business prospects for stakeholders in the Indian tourism industry.
Highlighting the significant partnerships and participation, SATTE 2024 features Uttar Pradesh as the host state, with Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand as partner states. Noteworthy participation is also expected from northeastern states and various National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) and partner countries such as Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, among others. Private players such as Air India, Resort World Cruise, MakeMyTrip, and others are set to showcase their offerings alongside renowned names in the travel and tourism sector. Additionally, SATTE 2024 will host extensive knowledge-sharing sessions, covering topics ranging from tourism trends to MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) opportunities, featuring prominent industry experts and thought leaders.
