DIPHU, May 31: The deputy commissioner of Karbi Anglong and returning officer of Member of Autonomous Council election, 2022, in an order, said that for the smooth and efficient conduct of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council election and due to requisition of Diphu Government HS School and Diphu Government Girls High School, Diphu for material distribution and receiving centre, strong rooms, counting hall etc., all the polling stations located in the premises have been shifted to new locations.
The existing polling stations and their new locations are as follows- 28 Diphu Government Boys HS School to New Hostel Building of Diphu Government Boys HS School, Diphu; 47 Diphu Government Girls High School (R/w) to Old Hostel Building of Diphu Government Boys HS School, Diphu (R/w); 48 Diphu Government Girls High School (L/w) to Old Hostel Building of Diphu Government Boys HS School, Diphu (L/w); 49 Diphu Government Girls High School (M/w) to Old Hostel Building of Diphu Government Boys HS School, Diphu (kitchen) and 50 Diphu Government Boys HS School (South) to New Hostel Building of Diphu Government Boys HS School, Diphu (South).
