Washington DC, March 31: Arnold Schwarzenegger, renowned for his Hollywood roles, bodybuilding achievements, and stint as California Governor, recently revealed he had a pacemaker inserted.
This is the latest in a series of cardiac procedures he has had since the 1990s. Schwarzenegger discussed his health journey, including his heart condition and medical history, on an episode of the Arnold’s Pump Club podcast.
Despite his health challenges, he expressed optimism about his wellbeing post-pacemaker implantation. The Terminator star emphasized the importance of discussing health issues openly, hoping to reduce the associated stigma.
He encouraged listeners facing health challenges not to delay medical attention due to fear. His decision to have a pacemaker was based on his medical team’s advice, who detected an arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat.
A pacemaker, a small battery-powered device, was implanted to monitor and regulate his heart rhythm. Schwarzenegger, by sharing his experience, aims to inspire others to prioritize health and heed medical advice, highlighting the importance of timely care for overall well-being.
