This announcement was made on Monday during the launch of Wi-Fi services for 19 government colleges under the first phase of the initiative, held at Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya in Udaipur, Gomati district.

The event was also attended by Jeya Ragul Geshan B, director of IT.
Highlighting the advancements under the current government, the minister emphasised, “We have introduced many developments in the state that were previously unseen.

Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Tripura has undertaken several historic initiatives. Today, we are launching Wi-Fi connectivity in 19 colleges, benefitting around 57,000 students.

Out of the 30 government colleges in the state, 19 are now connected, and the remaining 11 will be equipped soon.”
The newly launched Wi-Fi network offers 100 Mbps internet connectivity, which will enhance learning experiences for students and aid teachers in their instructional efforts.
