BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 18: On the early morning of November 16, a Seijosa police team, led by SDPO Sashi Dore, SI Sang Thinley, OC PS Seijosa, H/C Duyu Talley, HC (IRBN) Arman Tachang, CT Adam Namkang, and Kalu Gyadi (CT IRBN), under the direct supervision of SP Pakke Kessang, Tasi Darang, conducted a raid at a rented house named ‘Kainat’ located in the Air Force Colony, Salonibari, under Sonitpur district. The team apprehended the most-wanted accused in the Seijosa PS Arms Act case, Md Nurjamal Haque alias Rahul, who had received prohibited firearms stolen from the central KOTE of the 3rd IRBN, Seijosa, on October 20, 2024.
Md Nurjamal alias Rahul is a well-known drug distributor in the Sonitpur district, East Kameng district, and Pakke Kessang, as reported. With the arrest of the absconding accused, all suspects in the case have now been apprehended. Earlier, three people, including two IRBN personnel, had been arrested in the same case. Further investigation is ongoing, stated SP Pakke Kessang.
