Lions International District 322G hosts council meet

GUWAHATI, Dec 2: Lions International District 322G had the privilege of hosting the Second Council Meet of Multiple District 322 recently at the prestigious Hotel Kiranshree Grand. The event brought together 72 distinguished council members who traveled from Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and the North East region. The gathering was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including international director Lion Raj Kumar Agarwal, international director endorsee Lion Suraj Bagla, and past international directors Lion Prem Lahoty, Lion Bishnu Bajoria, Lion GS Hora, and Lion VK Luthra, among others, whose presence added immense value and inspiration.

To mark the occasion, all members were warmly welcomed with traditional shawls, and at the conclusion of the meeting, they were presented with gift boxes containing the renowned Assam Tea and specially designed laptop stands, courtesy of district governor Lion Seema Goenka and SVDG Lion Manoj Bhajanka, respectively. A special highlight of the event was the preparation and distribution of 200 Pregnancy Cum Newborn Kits, a heartfelt initiative by the district in collaboration with the multiple, aimed at supporting underprivileged pregnant women.

The members expressed their delight with the exceptional hospitality and seamless organisation of the event. This successful council meet was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the district team under the visionary leadership of DG Lion Seema Goenka, advisor PDG Lion Sudhir Choudhary, and SVDG Lion Manoj Bhajanka. It was a remarkable event that reaffirmed the Lions’ commitment to service and fellowship.
