GUWAHATI, Dec 25: Dr Madan Mohan Tripathi, director general of the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), met with chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, where he discussed skilled development in the semiconductor sector.
The meeting which took place at Lok Seva Bhawan in Dispur also witnessed discussion on the allotment of land for NIELIT’s permanent campus in Guwahati.
“Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Hon’ble Director General of the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Public Service Bhavan, Dispur, today. The discussion centered on initiatives for skill development in the semiconductor sector and the allocation of land for the permanent campus of NIELIT in Guwahati,” the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) posted on the microblogging platform X on Wednesday.
“This collaboration will enhance IT infrastructure and create new opportunities for our youth,” the CMO added.
