ITANAGAR, Feb 19: “Gunda gardi nahi chelega capital complex me,” said newly appointed DIG Tumme Amo who joined as DIG Itanagar Capital complex on Monday morning.
Amo while addressing the officers and official of various police stations of the capital complex and adjoining areas here in DIG office campus said that if any police personnel were found involved in any alleged activities of corruption, taking bribe for charge sheet, failure of filing charge sheet, non registration of FIR, arrest and no arrest, taking less fine instead of heavy penalty, would not be tolerated anymore.
“Always maintain the dignity of the uniform and I want that no man in uniform is involved in indiscipline activities,” Amo added.
Everyone in capital complex has responsibility to shoulder being a civilized citizen and everyone are responsible for wellbeing of each and every citizen in state capital and capital complex belongs to all so it’s a humble request to each and every citizen to maintain discipline, maintain peace and tranquility, he said.
