NFR introduces 7 additional pairs of special trains for enhanced connectivity

GUWAHATI, March 13: In a bid to cope up with the escalating rush of passengers during the Holi season, it has been decided to operate another additionally seven more pairs of Holi special trains between New Delhi – Katihar – New Delhi, Anand Vihar Terminal – Jogbani – Anand Vihar Terminal, New Delhi – Kamakhya – New Delhi and Chandigarh Jn. – Katihar- Chandigarh Jn, said an official statement on Thursday.

The statement further informed that these trains will operate for a single trip, ensuring enhanced connectivity and improved travel options for commuters.

The statement also notified the train schedules for operational days.

Special train no 04072 (New Delhi – Katihar) departed at 1445 hours on March 12, 2025 from New Delhi and reached Katihar at 14:00 hours Thursday.

Similarly, special train no 04071 (Katihar – New Delhi) departed at 18:45 hours on March 13, 2025 from Katihar to reach New Delhi at 1800 hours next day.

Special train no 04074 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Jogbani) departed at 1900 hours on March 12, 2025 from Anand Vihar Terminal and reached Jogbani at 2300 hours the next day.

Similarly, special train no 04073 (Jogbani – Anand Vihar Terminal) will depart at 0640 hours on March 14, 2025 from Jogbani to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 0825 hours on the next day.

Special train no 04076 (New Delhi – Kamakhya) departed at 1915 hours on March 12, 2025 from New Delhi to reach Kamakhya at 0830 hours on Friday.

Similarly, special train no 04075 (Kamakhya – New Delhi) will depart at 1600 hours on March 14, 2025 from Kamakhya to reach New Delhi at 0330 hours on Sunday.

Special train no 04078 (New Delhi – Katihar) departed at 1445 hours on March 13, 2025 from New Delhi to reach Katihar at 1400 hours on the next day.

Similarly, special train no 04077 (Katihar – New Delhi) will depart at 1845 hours on March 14, 2025 from Katihar to reach New Delhi at 1800 hours next day.

Special train no 04080 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Jogbani) departed at 1900 hours on March 13, 2025 from Anand Vihar Terminal and will reach Jogbani at 2300 hours on next day.

Similarly, special train no 04079 (Jogbani – Anand Vihar Terminal) will depart at 0640 hours on March 15, 2025 from Jogbani to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 0825 hours on next day.

Special train no. 04084 (New Delhi – Kamakhya) departed at 1915 hours on March 13, 2025 from New Delhi to reach Kamakhya at 0830 hours on Saturday.

Similarly, special train no 04083 (Kamakhya – New Delhi) will depart at 1600 hours on March 15, 2025 from Kamakhya and will reach New Delhi at 0330 hours on Monday.

Special train no 04508 (Chandigarh Jn – Katihar) departed at 2200 hours on March 12, 2025 from Chandigarh Jn. to reach Katihar at 0345 hours on Friday.

Similarly, special train no 04507 (Katihar – Chandigarh Jn) will depart at 0700 hours on March 14, 2025 from Katihar to reach Chandigarh Jn at 1450 hours the next day.

“The stoppage details and timings of these special trains are available on the IRCTC website and are also being published in newspapers and on N.F. Railway’s social media platforms. Passengers are advised to check the details before travelling,” the statement concluded.
