GOSSAIGAON, May 6: Gosaigaon Science Academy, a leading private educational institution in the Gosaigaon subdivision, has once again achieved a remarkable record of 100% pass results in both High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) examinations, continuing its streak of excellence like previous years.
In the recently declared Higher Secondary results, a total of 173 students from the science and arts streams passed with first division. In the science stream, 7 students secured star marks and 64 students passed with first division. In the arts stream, 5 students achieved distinction, 12 students secured star marks, and 73 students passed in the first division.
Additionally, 50 students from the academy appeared for the HSLC examination this year. Among them, 2 students secured distinction, 6 students achieved star marks, and 34 passed with first division.
A felicitation ceremony was also held on Monday at the auditorium of Gosaigaon Science Academy under the guidance of Saddam Hussain, Director of Gossaigaon Science Academy. Students who performed exceptionally in the Higher Secondary Examination were felicitated during the event. Notable guests at the ceremony included Kokrajhar district in-charge Primary Education Officer Rita Rava and Gosaigaon Block Education Officer Pradeep Kumar Goyari, among others. The meritorious students were honored with traditional Assamese phulam gamocha and phulam japi.
The continuous growth of this private educational institution has played a key role in encouraging students in the region to pursue science education.
