DIBRUGARH, June 11: As the Narendra Modi-led central government completes 11 years in office, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Arunachal Pradesh unit, has lauded the Prime Minister’s leadership, citing India’s emergence as a global power and the transformation witnessed across sectors—particularly in the North Eastern region.

Addressing media and supporters on the occasion, Ritemso Manyu, State President of BJYM Arunachal Pradesh, said the last 11 years under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership have been a period of unprecedented growth and national pride. “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as a major global power. In the past 11 years, the country has seen transformative development in every sector,” Manyu stated.

Focusing specifically on the North East, he highlighted the Modi government’s commitment to bridging historic gaps in infrastructure and services. “Arunachal Pradesh, which had long been neglected, has seen rapid development in the connectivity sector under the present government. Roads, bridges, and other infrastructure that were once only promises are now realities,” he added.

Manyu further credited Chief Minister Pema Khandu for playing a crucial role in aligning Arunachal Pradesh with the central vision of development. “The Khandu government has worked tirelessly to ensure that the people of Arunachal Pradesh benefit from centrally sponsored schemes. What was once a distant dream is now being delivered to people’s doorsteps,” he remarked.

Commenting on recent national events, he said, “India is now under strong and decisive leadership, which has been clearly demonstrated in operations like ‘Operation Sindoor’, where the country responded boldly and effectively to external threats. It reflects the strength and resolve of the Modi government.”

Highlighting the significance of the Modi administration’s approach to the North East, Manyu stated, “The Modi government has completed 11 years of dedicated service, with a marked focus on the North Eastern states. This region, once seen as remote and disconnected, has now been identified as a national growth corridor. The commitment to the North East reflects a larger vision of inclusive development that leaves no region behind.”

He elaborated that the government’s efforts are not limited to physical infrastructure but extend to economic empowerment, youth opportunities, and enhanced air connectivity, which are vital to the long-term prosperity of the region.

Turning to the state’s achievements, Manyu praised the leadership of CM Pema Khandu, describing his nine-year tenure as “an era of unprecedented and transformative progress” in Arunachal Pradesh. “Chief Minister Pema Khandu has not only accelerated the pace of development but has also inspired the youth to take part in building a stronger, more self-reliant Arunachal,” he said.

“Under nine years of Seva (service) and Sushasan (good governance), the Khandu-led government has remained steadfast in delivering on the aspirations of the people. From building roads and improving education and healthcare to ensuring social security and empowering indigenous communities—his government has made governance accessible to every citizen,” Manyu asserted.
