Similar to other BJP Mass Joining Programmes in the district, a large number of opposition workers from Congress, All Party Hills Leaders Conference, and CPI(ML) joined the BJP.

Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Chief Executive Member Tuliram Ronghang, who has been at the forefront of the BJP’s preparations, attended as the chief guest.

He welcomed the new members and reiterated the BJP’s promise of development, progress, and peace, along with the demand for an Autonomous State under Article 244(A) of the Indian Constitution.

Ronghang emphasized the need for cooperation with the authority while placing demands, rather than resorting to confrontational agitation.
