Guwahati,08 Oct: Garima Saikia Garg, wife of Assam’s singer Zubeen Garg, expressed her sorrow on social media, posting, “20 days… Am I really alive?” The message reflects her deep grief following the singer’s sudden death, resonating with fans across Assam. Earlier on October 7, she shared the first video track from the upcoming film Roi Roi Binale on Facebook, accompanied by an emotional caption in Assamese: “তুমি আছা .. আমাক পোহৰাই তুমি সদায় আছা” — “You are here… always illuminating our path.”
Roi Roi Binale marks Zubeen Garg’s final cinematic project and will release across India on October 31. Assamese filmmaker Rajesh Bhuyan confirmed that the film will feature Zubeen’s original voice, preserving his musical presence and legacy. The release is being viewed as both a cultural offering and a posthumous tribute, allowing audiences to experience the singer’s artistic spirit one last time.
