Morigaon , 11 Oct : Morigaon District Agriculture Department and HIL India Limited organized a district level awareness programme on ‘ Safe and Judicious use of pesticides and promotion of integrated pest management ‘ today.
The awareness programme was held at the meeting room of the District Agriculture Office in the presence of National Food and Nutrition Scheme ‘s National Advisor Dr. Arunima Debchaudhary .The programme was moderated by Agriculture extention officer Dibajyoti Hazarika .

The District Agriculture Officer Tapan Kumar Brahma took initiative the meeting . In the training and awareness programme , an aim is taken to create detailed awareness on prevention of pesticides, safe use, control of soil quality, proper use of pesticides and precautions to be taken.
The event was attended by Additional General Manager Anil Jadav, HIL India Limited and Dr. Rijusmita Sharma, Co- ordination of KVK ,Morigaon.
