100th Year of the Advent of Sri Sathya Sai Baba celebrated

NAHARLAGUN, Oct 11: The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh & Meghalaya) launched the “Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini” programme on Saturday to commemorate the 100th year of the divine advent of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The celebrations commenced at the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, D-Sector, Naharlagun, and are scheduled to culminate at the Sri Sri Radhagovinda Mandir, A-Sector, Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh.

As part of the programme, the organisers paid floral tributes to the late singer Zubeen Garg, remembering his immense contribution to music and culture.

The event also included a rally organised in the name of God, promoting the values of oneness, brotherhood, and communal harmony.

Participants from all walks of life took part in the rally, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the celebration.

Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) corporator Gyamar Tuvin, along with volunteers, local public leaders, and students, actively participated in the function, contributing to the vibrant and devotional atmosphere.

The programme highlighted the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, focusing on love, service, and selfless action for the welfare of society.

The celebrations marked a moment of devotion, remembrance, and unity, bringing together communities to reflect on the eternal message of love and service imparted by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Organisers said the initiative aimed to inspire people to embrace the principles of compassion, harmony, and collective social responsibility in their daily lives.
