GUWAHATI, Oct 30: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will thrill the people of the Northeast with a spectacular flying display over the Brahmaputra at Lachit Ghat, Guwahati, on November 9, 2025, as part of its 93rd Anniversary celebrations.
Preparations are underway, with participating aircraft and display teams arriving in Guwahati for rehearsals and coordination. The aerial showcase will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on November 5, 6, 8 and 9, offering a chance to witness the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Rafale jets, the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and other frontline IAF platforms.
This year’s Air Force Day theme, “Infallible, Impervious and Precise – अचूक, अभेद्य व सटीक,” reflects the IAF’s commitment to operational excellence, resilience and precision. The event will also honour the IAF’s legacy and inspire youth to consider careers in the Air Force.
