Acting on directions to consolidate earlier FIRs filed across multiple districts, the agency has reopened pending case files and initiated coordinated operations.

According to police officials, at least 11 members of the organisation were picked up in simultaneous raids conducted across several districts.

All those detained are being brought to the CID headquarters in Guwahati for exhaustive questioning.

A new case (No. 20/25) was formally lodged on Thursday, following which the CID began compiling past cases involving the outfit from various police stations.

This move is aimed at streamlining the probe under a single, coordinated investigation instead of scattered district-wise inquiries.
