Three Killed in Late-night Road Crash at Nagaon’s Rupahihat

Three men from Kanchanpur village died in a late-night road accident at Rupahihat, Nagaon, on Nov 30 after their motorcycle lost control. Police suspect a possible collision with an unidentified vehicle and have launched an investigation.

GUWAHATI, Dec 1: Three young men lost their lives in a late-night road crash at Rupahihat in Nagaon district on Nov 30, after their motorcycle went out of control while travelling from Rupohi towards Baligaon. The motorcycle veered off suddenly, leaving all three riders dead on the spot.

The victims were identified as Rajdul, Mehedi Alam, and Shakil Ahmed, all from Kanchanpur village. Early police inputs suggest the bike might have hit an unidentified vehicle, which possibly triggered the fatal collision.

Rupahihat Police arrived at the spot soon after receiving the alert and sent the bodies to Nagaon for post-mortem.
