National Handicraft Week 2025 showcase North-East artisans

GUWAHATI, Dec 7: National Handicraft Week 2025 will be held from December 8 to 14 at the PWD Convention and Training Centre, Dispur, organised by the North-Eastern Regional Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles.

The event will feature artisans from across the North-East, displaying cane and bamboo crafts, handlooms, tribal artefacts and natural fibre products. Visitors can attend live demonstrations, exhibitions, seminars and interactive sessions to explore the region’s rich craft heritage.

The celebration aims to promote artisans’ livelihoods and foster appreciation for handmade, sustainable products from the North-East.
