8 infiltrators ‘pushed back’ from Assam

Guwahati, Dec 13: Eight illegal immigrants have been “pushed back” into Bangladesh from Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

He, however, did not specify from where the “push back” happened.

Over the last few months, several illegal immigrants from Bangladesh have been sent back across the border after being caught in the state. (PTI)
