Indus Academy annual function concludes: ‘Pioneer’ released

JAGIROAD, Dec 23: The annual function of the only private CBSE senior secondary school in Jagiroad Co-District concludes on Monday with two days programe. On the occasion, the annual exhibition was inaugurated by Mayong Circle Officer (CO) Priyanka Gogoi on Sunday. In her inaugural address, she expressed her gratitude towards the discipline, punctuality and the way of exposure and presentation of not only the science based models but also the arts subjects models displayed by the students here. The officer also expressed her delights to be present in such a prestigious school in Jagiroad under Mayong revenue circle. Chinmoy Bordoloi, Director, SPM IAS Academy, Guwahati, while delivering his speech as guest of honour highlighted the necessity of consistency to achieve goal of each and every student. He also expressed happiness by watching unique models of the exhibition in different fields. The cultural function on Monday began with lighting of ceremonial lamp by CDC, Jagiroad Co-District, Hriday Kumar Das, accompanied by Cultural Development Officer, Government of Assam, Achyut Kumar Bora. The inaugural session was also attended by guest of honour Dibyajit Neog, Chairman, Jagiroad Development Authority, Sanjib Saikia, Chairman, Indus Educational Trust, secretary Manoranjan Mishra, Principal of Indus Academy Namita Sarma among others. The annual magazine of the school ‘Pioneer: 2025-26’ was also released on the ocassion.
