NHIDCL donates 2 ambulances to Mon district

DIMAPUR, Jan 23: The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), donated two ambulances under their CSR activity to Tizit PHC and Wakching PHC under Mon district on Friday.

Mon DC Wennyei Konyak handed over the keys of the new ambulances to the Mon chief medical officer.

The ambulances were flagged off by Konyak to their respective locations, marking a significant step toward improving emergency medical response and healthcare delivery in the district.

He appealed to the PHCs to have ownership of the vehicles and use them judiciously to cater to the needs of the people.

He also expressed gratitude to the NHIDCL for the generous gesture.

The NHIDCL had earlier donated 24 basic life support (BLS) ambulances to the Nagaland government in April 2021 and four more ambulances to the Nagaland police in October 2021.
