DIBRUGARH, Aug 23: The Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), the oldest and premier health and education institution of Northeast, has drawn up an elaborate plan for the closing ceremony of the ongoing year-long platinum jubilee celebrations.
Addressing the press persons here on Tuesday, AMCH principal and chief superintendent Dr Sanjeeb Kakati said a week-long programme has been chalked out by the Platinum Jubilee celebration Committee which commences on Oct 28.

Kakati informed that Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will be the chief guest of the closing ceremony while a host of other Union ministers and State ministers will be present. More than 2,000 alumni had already registered their names to attend the celebration.
“We urged every alumni of the prestigious institution to enrolled themselves through the official website https://platinumjubilee.amch.edu.in. We have planned many programmes for the celebration,” Kakati said.
