KOKRAJHAR, Feb 10: The Final Photo Electoral Roll-2026, with January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date, has been published for five Kokrajhar district constituencies: 1-Gossaigaon, 2-Dotma (ST), 3-Kokrajhar (ST), 4-Baokhungri and 5-Parbatjhora, following the Election Commission of India’s schedule (ECI Letter No 23/2025-ERS, Nov 17, 2025).
The final roll without photos is available on the CEO Assam website and the District Commissioner Kokrajhar website, while the photo rolls can be accessed at the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers of the respective constituencies, the DC office and Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
As per Section 24 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, appeals against ERO orders may be filed within 15 days with the District Magistrate, Kokrajhar and a second appeal within 30 days to the CEO, Assam.
Our Nagaon Correspondent adds: The Nagaon District Election Office released the final voter list for seven assembly constituencies ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections. At a press conference, DC Debashish Sarma stated that 15, 51,530 voters — including 7, 78,207 males, 7, 73,270 females and 52 transgender voters are eligible to exercise their franchise.
The final list includes 43,121 newly enrolled voters, while 43,867 names were removed through Special Revision (SR/2026). Additionally, 1, 73,942 voters were revised or transferred during the update process.
Our Biswanath Chariali Correspondent adds: The final Photo Electoral Roll for 70 Biswanath, 71 Behali (SC) and 72 Gohpur Assembly constituencies in Biswanath district was released on Tuesday, with January 1, 2026, as the eligibility base date. Biswanath DC and DEO Lakshminanda Saharia said a total of 5, 13,599 voters have been included.
Biswanath AC: 1, 87,821 voters (93,206 male, 94,615 female); 4,007 added, 6,813 deleted since draft.
Behali (SC) AC: 1, 54,199 voters (76,543 male, 77,656 female); 3,093 added, 6,962 deleted.
Gohpur AC: 1, 71,579 voters (86,609 male, 84,970 female); 4,295 added, 6,195 deleted.
The draft list, released on Dec 27, 2025, included 5, 22,174 voters. The release event, conducted by DEO Dhiman Hazarika, was attended by officials including Saharia, EROs of the three constituencies, ADC Asim Bargohain, staff and political party representatives.
Our Morigaon Correspondent adds: In line with Election Commission of India directives, the final draft photo electoral rolls have been published for 52-Jagiroad (SC), 53-Laharighat and 54-Morigaon constituencies. The launch took place at the Morigaon District Commissioner’s office, in the presence of DC Anamika Tewari, SSP Prakash Sonwal, Additional DCs Anusuya Sharma and Rakesh Deka and Election Officer Indrajit Das.
Official data shows a total of 7, 66,915 voters in the district — 3, 87,047 male, 3, 79,854 female and 14 third gender voters. The constituency-wise figures are: Jagiroad (2, 51,755), Laharighat (3, 09,141) and Morigaon (2,06,019). The voter list has increased by 5,224 new entries.
The public can access the voter rolls online at [www.nvsp.in](https://www.nvsp.in) or at local voter registration offices and Booth Level Officers’ offices. District officials, political party representatives and journalists attended the meeting.
Our Haflong Correspondent adds: The Dima Hasao District Administration convened a press meet on Tuesday regarding the publication of the Final Electoral Roll under the Special Revision of Electoral Rolls for the 113-Haflong (ST) Legislative Assembly Constituency.
Additional District Commissioner (ADC) Shhaurya Sharrma briefed media representatives on the significance and procedural aspects of the Special Revision. The Final Electoral Roll has been prepared with January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date, ensuring accuracy and inclusiveness in the electoral process.
The meeting, held at 11:00 AM in the Conference Hall of the Office of the District Commissioner, Haflong, was attended by representatives from various political parties and media houses.
ADC Sharma highlighted the efforts undertaken by the district administration to ensure a transparent, error-free and voter-friendly revision process. Media persons were also informed about the availability of the Final Electoral Roll for public inspection and the importance of voter awareness ahead of the upcoming elections. The District Administration reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening democratic participation and urged all eligible citizens to verify their names in the Final Electoral Roll to ensure their right to vote.
