GUWAHATI, Feb 25: In a significant development for Assam’s business community, Chartered Accountant and MSME advisor CA Bijay Kr Agarwal recently launched a book titled “MSME Loan Mastery” at a grand ceremony held at Hotel Vishwaratna in Guwahati.
The launch is being described as the first-ever book unveiling in the city exclusively focused on MSME growth strategies and scheme-based financing opportunities.
The initiative aims to bridge the knowledge gap between entrepreneurs and structured funding mechanisms available through banks and government-backed schemes.
The programme was attended by ministers, industry leaders and a large number of MSME entrepreneurs from across the region. Chairman and Managing Director of NEDFI, PVSLN Murthy, and Chief General Manager of NABARD, Loken Das, attended as chief guests and formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and unveiling the book.
Addressing the gathering, CA Bijay Kr Agarwal spoke on the need for MSMEs to move beyond survival and focus on structured expansion.
He emphasised the importance of financial planning, proper loan structuring and effective utilisation of government schemes to ensure sustainable growth.
Entrepreneurs present at the event described the session as practical and implementation-oriented, highlighting the relevance of the insights shared.
The event also provided a platform for networking and exchange of ideas among business owners.
During the programme, CA Agarwal announced that more than 1,000 copies of the book would be distributed to business owners across Guwahati.
He also informed that editions in local languages would be released to ensure wider accessibility among regional entrepreneurs.
The book is expected to serve as a comprehensive guide for MSMEs seeking clarity on funding avenues, policy benefits and long-term growth strategies. With this initiative, stakeholders believe a new momentum has been created for strengthening the MSME ecosystem in Guwahati and across Assam.
