Quality Education A Top Priority: EM Richard Tokbi

DIPHU, Aug 30: Executive Member (EM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Richard Tokbi said a student’s ambition should be to get educated and chalk out a career. He was speaking at the Fresher’s Social of Harlongbi Velongbi College in Deithor which he attended as the chief guest.

EM Tokbi said a student should gain knowledge and acquaint themselves with quality education as they’re the future of a society. The EM added that he, along with the KAAC will make sure that education is given the topmost priority in order to change the educational scenario of the two hills districts. He requested that students be part of the mission for a better future.

Apart from students the function was attended by Yunali Ronghangpi, principal of Harlongbi Velongbi College; Fr. Tobias Barva, principal of Don Bosco School, Rongbonghat; Nirmal Saikia, principal of Deithor High School; headmaster of Kekangadong High School, Admin Langneh; chairman of Deithor Municipal Board, Jacob Tokbi and others.
