Biennial conference of KSA to be held in May

DIPHU, April 6: The 31st biennial conference of Karbi Students Association (KSA) will be held on May 5 and 6 at the playground of Diphu Govt College, the president Simeon Rongphar informed.

In a press conference held at District Press Club of Karbi Anglong here on Wednesday, the KSA president Simeon Rongphar said, “KSA conference is not held annually but biennially. The 31st conference for the central committee, KSA, will be held on May 5 and 6 at Diphu Govt College playground.”

He also informed that due to his preoccupation in other areas he will be leaving the KSA in that conference.

“To the best of my capacity, I have devoted myself to the KSA to serve society. As I have to give time in my other spheres, I will leave from active participation in KSA after the biennial conference. Though I have not resigned from the post of president but after coming to an agreement in the central executive meeting, Sumit Timung has been appointed as the in-charge president up to the conference.”
