Lakshmi Puja celebrated in Demow

DEMOW, Oct 9: Lakshmi Puja was celebrated with religious fervour in Demow, Kaliapani Lakshmi Mandir, Laguabari Lakshmi Mandir and its surrounding areas on Sunday.
The puja started with all traditional fanfare and naam prasanga. Earthen lamps as well as colourful lights were lit in houses and business establishments during the evening. During the night, films were screened in the Laguabari near Demow on Sunday.
