‘Khel Mahotsav’ conducted in continuation of diamond jubilee celebrations of Battle of Walong

Tezpur, Oct 21: In continuation of the diamond jubilee celebrations of Battle of Walong, Khel Mahotsav is being conducted in Walong and Kibithu circles of Anjaw district of Arunachal Pradesh from 19th to 21st October, 2022 by the Dao Division under Spear Corps to Foster Physical, Mental and Psychological well being.

Teams of Walong (Walong Warriors), Kibithu (Kibithu Killers), Kaho (Kaho Crushers) and Karoti (Karoti Knights) participated in the Khel Mahotsav with enthusiasm and vigour. Football, volleyball, cricket, table tennis and badminton tournaments will be organised as part of the mega game festival. The Khel Mahotsav was an initiative aimed at improving sports and games culture at the grass root level, stated a press release by Lt Col AS Walia, PRO (Defence), Tezpur.
