APCC constitutes media dept in Jorhat

JORHAT, Oct 29: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has newly constituted a four-member Jorhat district media department headed by Abhijit Phukan as chairman.

A Jorhat district Congress office-bearer informed on Saturday that a circular issued by APCC Media department chairman Manjit Mahanta on Friday, has stated a new committee for media department of Jorhat district unit of the party, has been constituted having Prasanta Bora, Devojyoti Srutikar and Dharani Saikia as spokespersons with Abhijit Phukan as chairman.

The circular mentioned that the commitee was formed as per direction of APCC president Bhupen Kumar Bora after having consultation with Jorhat district unit president of the party.
