BOKAJAN, Nov 2: Land Owners Rights Protection Committee has warned land owners to be careful amid prevalence of alleged wrongdoings with regard to compensation in the construction of four lane highway from Doboka to Dimapur.

In a meeting held at PWD Inspection Bungalow, Hanjanglangso, the president of LORPC, Lalsing Engti said all should be cautious and careful as the four lane highway is also passing through Bokajan sub division. The ARO, SK, Mandols and revenue officials have unscrupulously captured land of others by falsifying documents and cornered the compensation. This should not be allowed to happen in the Bokajan sub division.

LORPC was constituted on October 5 to protect the rights of land owners in Bokajan sub-division. Secretary of LORPC, Ranjit Hanse and others attended the meeting.
