Mukroh Probe Panel Seeks Written Statements

 DIPHU, Jan 4: The one-man inquiry commission under Justice Rumi Kumari Phukan, probing the November 22 firing incident at Mukroh under Jirikindeng police station, West Karbi Anglong district has invited written statement of facts relating to the matter from the government of Assam and others before January 9.

The district administration of West Karbi Anglong, police administration, aggrieved persons, concerned parties, organisations and members of the public acquainted with the subject matter of inquiry are asked to submit written statements, official sources said.

The written statements may be filled either individually or collectively by group persons with full names and postal addresses and enclose the following: A list of witnesses with addresses, supporting documents in original or true copies and an affidavit supporting the statements of facts in the written statement, the statement said.

The statement can be sent to the Commission’s email ID justicerkpukan@gmail.com or submitted in triplicate to ACS, Tarali Das, secretary, One Man Inquiry Commission under Justice RK Phukan (Retd) Quarter No B-103, HIG Complex, Rukminigaon in person, authorised person or by registered post.

The written statements will be also accepted, if filled on January 9 at 10 am during the Commission’s sitting in the Irrigation Department Inspection Bungalow, Dongkamukam, West Karbi Anglong.
