SHILLONG, Jan 20 (NNN): The Society of Labour and Development Agency (SLDA) will organise the ‘Jedi Award 2023’ on February 11, 2023 at Anton Hall Shillong.
Speaking to media persons, discipline secretary of SLDA Phibarisha Diengdoh said that the motive of having such an award is to encourage people especially the youths from all walks of life to stand on their own feet and run their own choice of businesses.
Diengdoh informed that the SLDA will hand out the award to youths who have excelled in various categories like Best Start up of the year, the best entrepreneur, the best woman leader, the best small business, the best business Man or Woman of the year, the best photography, videography, the best director, the best skill, the best pageant holder, the best sports persons, the best makeup artist and the best artist.

She added that the Society of Labour and Development Agency (SLDA) which was formed in 2022 is being recognised by the state government and this award will help to encourage the youths of the state to get recognition in their respective fields.
“All aspiring youths who deserve these awards need to register themselves by calling at 7627963324 and can also register during the ceremony to be held on February 11,” said Diengdoh.
Diengdoh then said that all participants will be judged by experts who excel in these fields and those youths who will get the award, will eventually get a chance to compete for the national award schedule later this year in New Delhi.
