GUWAHATI, Feb 27: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union minister for petroleum and natural gas, Hardeep Singh Puri at his office chamber here on Monday.

Chief minister Sarma discussed ways to utilise the natural resources for economic growth and development of Assam.

“Glad to meet Hon’ble Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Housing & Urban Affairs Shri @HardeepSPuri ji at his office in New Delhi. Discussed ways to utilise our natural resources for economic growth & development of Assam,” chief minister Sarma tweeted on Monday.

Union minister Puri assured the Assam chief minister that his ministry would do everything possible to make judicious use of the natural resources for economic prosperity of Assam.

The chief minister was accompanied by principal secretary to chief minister, Samir Sinha and principal resident commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi, Rajeev Chandra Joshi.
