Minister Pijush, CEM Inspect Venue Ahead Of PM Visit

HOWRAGHAT, April 22: With only five days left for the Prime Minister’s visit to Assam, minister Pijush Hazarika along with chief executive member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Tuliram Ronghang and other Council members on Friday inspected the site in Karbi Anglong where the Prime Minister is expected to visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a public meeting at Loringthepi under Howraghat LA in Karbi Anglong.

It may be mentioned that the KAAC under the CEM Ronghang and the district administration of Karbi Anglong is working on a war footing in preparation of the Prime Minister’s visit to the district. Along with the minister, MLAs, Bidyasing Engleng and Darsing Ronghang and executive members of KAAC were present during the visit of inspection of the venue.

At the public meeting, the Prime Minister is expected to lay the foundation stones of several big projects and announce schemes.
