HOJAI, March 22: Hojai Sahitya Sabha is going to celebrate its golden jubilee with day-long special activities on upcoming March 26 with great fervour. As per the information received from Hargovind Kalita, secretary, Hojai Sahitya Sabha and Anup Kumar Barthakur, secretary, Golden Jubilee Organising Committee the programme will be organised at Sahityarathi Bezbaruwa Bhavan at new market in Hojai on Sunday.

The programme will mark attendance of all the founder and former members of the Sabha. Dr Basant Kumar Goswami, former chief secretary of Assam Sahitya Sabha, will be present as the chief guest on this occasion.
Apart from this, Ramakrishna Ghosh, MLA of the Hojai assembly constituency, as the speaker and founder member of the Sabha Karuna Kant Kalita will be grace as a special guest.
As per information, the programme will be inaugurated on Sunday morning at 8:45 am by Hojai Sahitya Sabha president Dayal Chandra by hoisting the flag of Assam Sahitya Sabha.
After that, Smriti Tarpan will be done at 9:00 in which Baba Tumvi Singh, former president of Hojai Sahitya Sabha, will be present as the main tarpak.
