‘International Earth Day 2022’ Celebrated At LGBI Airport

GUWAHATI, April 23: ‘International Earth Day 2022’ was observed at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport on Friday. To create awareness among the passengers and stakeholders, some informative standees highlighting the tagline of the event are ‘Invest in our planet’, ‘Let’s save the world together’ etc. were displayed in and around the airport. Employees of the airport and passengers formed part of the awareness campaign by wearing relevant masks. Earth Day tags were also distributed among the employees and passengers. In this regard, Guwahati Airport recently launched a plantation drive. The new airport operator has placed plants in every corner of the terminal to give it a green makeover.
