Week long ‘Fasal Bima Patshala’ programme from today

NAGAON, April 23: District administration in association with district agriculture department is going to ‘Fasal Bima Patshala’ – as well as ‘Kishan Bhagdari Parthomikota Hamari’, a special programme under Agriculture and Farmers Development department, government of India from April 24 to May 1 across the district like other parts of the country. Deputy commissioner, Nagaon Nisarg Hivare intimated about it while addressing a press conference at his office conference hall here.
He said that the officials of the concerned department as well as district administration would organise gram sabha almost all gram panchayats in the district during the week and tried to make aware of Kishan Credit Cards among those farmers who were getting benefits of Prime Minister Krishan Sanman. During the week, the officials of the district administration and district agriculture department would also experience how they could avail the Kisan Credit Cards from their respective banks.
To avail the Kishan Credit Cards to the farmers of the district, DC Hivare had already directed all the bank managers of the district.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that around 64, 645 farmers of the district are currently getting the PM Kishan Sanman, being sponsored by the Union government.
Along with DC Hivare, district agriculture officer Tarun Hazarika, ADC Debajani Chaudhary were also present in the press conference.
