Nagaon Forest Division Collects Revenue Over Rs 33 Crore In 2022-23

NAGAON, April 17: Nagaon Forest Division has generated Rs 33,44,76,348.00 crores as a total revenue from various sectors in 2022-23 fiscal year while it was only Rs 24,22,05984.00  crore in 2021-22 fiscal year among which the division collected Rs 13,49,21,336.00 crore in the year 2022-23 through DFO deposit while Rs 20,97,55012.00 crore had been realised through treasury deposit in 2022-23 by the division, sources from Nagaon forest division stated on Monday afternoon here.

The sources said that the same division collected Rs 6,90,13,001.00 crore in 2021-22 fiscal year through DFO deposit while the division had realised Rs 17,31,92,983.00 crores through treasury deposit, sources said.

Meanwhile Salna range office collected Rs 1,64,31,428.00 crore as direct revenue while more than Rs 3.5 crores had been realised through treasury deposit in 2022-23 fiscal year by Salna forest range, sources said, adding that the division collected Rs 72,37,355.00 as revenue from various brick kilns across the division during 2022-23 session while Rs 4,50,000.00 had been realised from brick kilns under the division in the year 2021-22.
