DEMOW, April 17: Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain laid the foundation stone of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Office in Demow Alun Nagar near NH-37 Road on Monday.
Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain told media persons here on Monday that the foundation stone of first Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Office in Thowra Constituency was laid. He also said that the party should have to be stronger here so that in future they can provide service to the public. He said that the chief minister has directed the MLA’s to construct an office of the party in their respective constituencies for which the foundation stone of the office was laid. Mayur Borgohain, president of BJP Sivasagar District, Pranab Chetia, general secretary of BJP Sivasagar District along with BJP leaders of Thowra Constituency was present in the foundation stone laying programme.
