IFS Promotion In Karbi Anglong

DIPHU: Three Forest service officers of Karbi Anglong have been made Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers by “appointment by promotion” by the Government of India. Nine Forest service officers in Assam, including the three from Karbi Anglong, will join the Assam-Meghalaya cadre of the service.

The three officers in Karbi Anglong namely Rabising Ingti; Jogonath Rongpi, DFO, West Division, Karbi Anglong and Nando Ram Teron, DFO, I/c Silviculture, Northern Afforestation and Working Plan divisions have been promoted under ST quota.

The Forest and Environment Department, Karbi Anglong wished them good health to complete their remaining service to the nation.
