PASIGHAT, Aug 11: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) – Siang Vibhag successfully organised its three-day Vibhag Training Camp from August 8 to 10 at Government Polytechnic College, Pasighat, with the objective of enhancing organisational skills, deepening ideological understanding, and fostering social awareness among its karyakartas from across the region.
According to an official release, the programme brought together 157 delegates representing West Siang, East Siang, and Upper Siang districts.
Over the three days, participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions, lectures, and discussions designed to prepare them for greater involvement in social and community initiatives.
The camp featured noted resource persons who shared their expertise on a variety of topics.
Superintendent Engineer Er Debaang Tayeng spoke on professional discipline and commitment, while noted anti-drug activist Jaya Tasung highlighted the growing menace of substance abuse and its harmful impact on youth and society.
ABVP Arunachal Pradesh State Organising Secretary Shri Jeli Ete addressed the gathering on organisational structure, leadership, and the role of youth in national development, and SFS Northeast Zone Convener Yage Tayeng shared insights on women’s participation and empowerment in societal change.
Participants also took part in sessions on goal setting for a purposeful future, identifying and addressing social challenges specific to Arunachal Pradesh, and understanding the guiding principles and initiatives of ABVP.
Group discussions encouraged exchange of ideas, while practical exercises helped translate theoretical concepts into actionable plans.
According to the press release, the camp not only equipped karyakartas with the skills and knowledge necessary for community engagement but also reinforced their sense of responsibility towards nation-building and social upliftment.
ABVP Siang Vibhag reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing youth leadership and addressing pressing social issues through sustained grassroots efforts.
