KHELA, Nov 6: The Sapta Shakti Sangam organised a Matri Sammelan (Mother’s Conference) at EMRS Khela, Tirap District to celebrate the spirit of motherhood, unity and women empowerment. The event aimed to strengthen the bond between parents and the school community, with a focus on the vital role of mothers in shaping the younger generation.
Chief Guest K C Lowangcha, DDSE Tirap emphasised the importance of parental love, guidance and counseling in preventing social issues like drug abuse. Guest of Honour L Gautam highlighted the significance of nurturing children with care, patience and a clean environment.
