According to an official statement, the event was part of the nationwide campaign titled “Viksit Bharat Ka Amrit Kaal – 11 Years of Seva, Sushasan aur Gareeb Kalyan”, which commemorates over a decade of service delivery, good governance, and pro-poor policies under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chaupal was attended by a host of senior leaders and grassroots party workers, with Nyato Dukam, Minister of Commerce and Industry of Arunachal Pradesh, gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Dukam spoke at length about the transformative impact of central and state government schemes in the region, particularly in the sectors of infrastructure, healthcare, women’s welfare, and tribal upliftment.

Also present at the event were Upper Subansiri BJP District President Tama Nirin, 23-Taliha Mandal President Taju Jami, and Si-Yomi District Incharge Taring Rai.

Zilla Parishad Members (ZPMs), booth-level party workers, and members of the general public participated in large numbers, reflecting the growing public engagement with the party’s outreach initiatives.

The Chaupal served as a platform for leaders to outline key flagship programmes such as PM Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which were credited with significantly improving living standards in rural and remote areas of the Northeast.

Speakers at the event emphasised that Arunachal Pradesh has witnessed unprecedented development in recent years, thanks to a coordinated push for connectivity, digital inclusion, and empowerment of marginalised communities.

They also reiterated the BJP’s commitment to inclusive growth and promised to carry forward the momentum in the coming years under the vision of a “Developed India” (Viksit Bharat).

The programme concluded with a pledge to work towards strengthening grassroots democracy and realising the vision of a self-reliant and empowered Arunachal Pradesh.
